The Gut Cho Natural Resource Agency (a joint agency for Dease River First Nation, and Daylu Dena Council, that also includes the communities of Muncho Lake and Fireside) was established in the mid 2000’s. It is structured similar to the Kwadacha Natural Resource Agency where overtime elected directors of the Gut Cho Natural Resource Agency will represent each First Nation's interests in the management of natural resources in the traditional territory.
Currently, there is an interim chair for the agency and discussions are underway to reactivate the agency as new collaborative management agreements for natural resource development become available through Kaska Dena negotiations with the Province.
